"Beach Bliss" Layout Created by Sonia Gibson

Suitable for Beyond Beginners

I know it's not a beach layout! I've obviously altered and the layout design to suit the Christening photo's I wanted to use but the concept is from the original project Sonia created.

This is a 4 Hour Master Class Workshop where you will create a bright, fun ( beach) layout using buttons, stamping, Enamel Accents, flock and the Ezy-Press.

HAPPY CRAFTY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
I hope you all had a peaceful and relaxing time over Christmas and New Years. Mine was very peaceful and stress free!My family loved getting away from it all and it was great to catch up with family especially at Christmas and of course the children were spoilt! It was 10 days of nothing to do and with no computer! (and my iPhone email was dodgy too) except Eat,drink,swim,sleep!

So here I am back into it! I thought I'd share this with you before I start on New Years Resolutions!
I recently created an Album for a good friend of mine for her parents as a Keepsake of their combined 60th Birthdays. It was a Jazz themed party and I created 10 layouts/pages with places to add photo's and journalling with additional pocket pages all kept secure in one of our beautiful Kaszazz Albums! I hope they enjoyed themselves on their special night and liked the Album.
I really enjoyed making this special keepsake album and would love to create more. So if your looking for something different unique and one of a kind to give as a gift or for yourself to keep a record of those precious photo's and memories of a special occasion drop me a line! I'm more than happy to help you create something too!

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

Hi Crafty Friends
I know we haven't had Christmas YET here I am talking about those New Years Resolutions (that we know we will break before the 2012 has begun) already! But I'm determined to stick to them this New Year! That's why I've decided to make mine craft related! I figure I've got a better chance of sticking to them and I might even get on top of all my unfinished projects and instructions that have been piling up and up!
This has all come about from a day (or 2!) of procrastinating, reading and following what my fellow Kaszazz Consultants on Face Book have been up to and I've been inspired by a couple of simply brilliant concepts (that I can't take credit for & sorry I forgot to make a note of who inspired me) that I will be implementing in the New Year.

First one is "SHOE BOX SUNDAY" every year I say I'm going to start making my Chrissie cards in July to get myself organised and send them on time for once! And here it is 1/2 way through December and I'm only 1/4 organised for Christmas! I figure I'm so far behind now If I keep going I'll be on time for next Christmas!
So 1 Sunday a month a group of us will get together and create cards to add to our stash or get a head start on Christmas. I'm not fussed if you use non Kaszazz product but keep in mind you will need to bring enough product for everyone to make the card. Please bring a sample of the card and enough product/ supplies that fits into a "shoebox" for everyone to make your card. So I suggest we keep it simple and hopefully we can come away with a handful of cards each month!

Second one is "MUMs N BUBs"CLUB. I know not everyone has children but most of us started scrapbooking to preserve those precious memories of our children's milestones and special occasions. 3 children later and I've barley touched the surface let alone completed an album for each of my children. And with the introduction of the Complete Scrapbooking- Baby Milestones it couldn't be easier to get my albums done before they turn 21!! So I'm setting aside a Wednesday morning fortnightly, do come join me in my child friendly home studio. You are welcome to BYO own album papers and embellishments and use my tools and tuition for a small fee or purchase the Complete Scrapbooking- Baby Milestones which has instructions and all materials you will need and more to create a stunning album you and your child will treasure. Payment plan option available please ask me.

And the third one is "UFO"Day. I have a pile of unfinished projects that seems to be getting bigger! I love creating but find it hard to finish my projects completely before moving onto something else! I know I'm not alone. So I'm setting aside a Friday mid monthly to get cracking and finally finish my projects! BYO UnFinished Objects and basic tool kit, No Cost and your welcome to use my tools. Come along anytime from 10.30am ALL DAY till late. If your still here for tea we'll order pizza! It's a great way to catch up and we can pick each others brains for ideas if your creatively stuck too!

Hi Crafters

October was again a very busy month! Lots of creating, a few Demo's and teaching Workshops. In the school holidays myself and 3 other fellow Kaszazz Consultants took a little road trip (yes I did take my 3 lil cherubs too!)We had a very sucessful Meet Kaszazz Event in Pt Lincoln, met some lovely ladies and had a little holiday too!
I hosted a Girls Night In this weekend just gone. Thanks to the girls who attended we had a very pink night complete with pink bubbles and lots of laughs. We even managed to get a bit of scrapping done too! We raised $150 and still going! Every little bit helps!
I'm changing my Blog Workshop Posts a little bit. I've decided to still Post what Workshops I offer each month but without dates which will make it easier (hopefully lol) for people with busy schedules (all of us) to host a Workshop. Have a look and see what Workshops I'm running each month and pick the ones you like drop me a line or call and lets book a date!
I also have a little surprise too share with you all too! (It's more like an idea!)

Neat, acid free, no mess adhesive with roll format for swift and simple application.

Fantastic for all projects.

The more I use these clear extremly adhesive dots the more I love them. I use them all the time on everything- plastic, card, ribbons, all embelishments ect. They are especially good to use when you are in a hurry and don't have time to wait for the glue to dry or those small fiddly embelishments!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Customer Appreciation Events on Tuesday at Partridge House, Glenelg.

A big thanks to Cheryl and all the Southern Star Consultants who helped to plan and ensure the day ran smoothly.

A huge thanks to our Super Star Carole Colyer (aka Queen of the Kitchen)and Julie for all their hard work behind the scenes in the kitchen organising, preparing,cooking. We would all be lost without you.

I know I have been missing in action for some time now but life has been crazy busy with my 40^th Birthday, the Easter break, the unfortunate hacking incident and changing my Studio space as well as managing my business and preparing and running TTD (Team Training Day which is the New Product Release Day!) Plus a family, but I'm excited to share with you the latest range of beautiful new scrapbooking and stamping products Kaszazz has just released! WOW! What an awesome weekend I had attending the Kaszazz Conference held at the Adelaide Shores Function Complex.
I came away (happy tired) very inspired by the Retro new products and guest speakers and excited about the coming changes announced!
There were lots of prizes and awards given out, and of course FREEbies! We were given lots of samples of our upcoming May2011 new products release. We got to play with some of the new products at 2 workshops... so stay tuned for those workshops to be posted soon!
The Rock and Roll Awards Dinner Saturday night was soo much fun! It was the best night out I've had in a long time!!

My first Team Training Day was a great success!
It ran smoothly and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves (as much as they liked my strawberry melting moments! Yummy!)
I would like to thank you all for coming and hope you all went away feeling inspired and rejuvenated to start creating again after the Christmas break. (I know I did! I had so many ideas running around in my head last night but was too tired to create. So today I had to play and hence why I'm only now getting to my post now!) I just love the NEW SB Foundations, Funky Coloured Rub- Ons, exclusive new un-mounted rubber stamps, ColourBox Archival Dye Queue, I won't continue to ramble on! Let's say.... I just love it all!
Also a BIG THANK YOU to my awesome hubby who's support and BBQ culinary skills made the day a breeze for me! And not forgetting my darling "lil ones" who were soo good we didn't hear a peep out of them!

Paper Power Double Layout.

I had a huge clean out of my Craft Room and it's amazing what you find or forget you have! The top single page layout I did using a very old Masculine My Boy journal aid. I just wanted to show that layouts don't always have to be embelished to the max to look effective. And sometimes quick and easy works best! The other 2 double page layouts I've scraplifted from a very old layout by Lucy stamps but It shows that a simple technique doesn't go out of style and I think it's still quite effective.

My youngest son Gabriel just turned 3! He loves all things Toy Story so of course his party and presents were all Toy Story 3! We even saw Toy Story 3 in 3D on his Birthday!

Yes well It's taken quite a bit longer than I thought to get back into my blog. I just couldn't decide how to set it out what I wanted to put on it which side to put things... Blah blah blah....So It's sat for a while.
But finally it's starting to take shape (still very basic I know) but that's me simple. And all this modern technology still is above my head! Way over my head! But I know enough to get by and hopefully one day it will sink into my thick head! LOL!
So I'm still unsure of how this blog will run?? I was going to turn it into a "Professional Only Blog" But I think I will have a bit of everything but focusing on My new Business ANGEL ARTS. Which is combining my fave things scrapbooking and make up thanks to my Love of Kaszazz and Nutrimetics.
So stay tuned for further developments, new products, specials, workshops and more.

Howdy to you if there's anyone who still checks out my blog!!

I know it's been a veerry long time since I last posted anything that was largley due to a mishap with my laptop! Then we were oversea's for 3 weeks then on our return I got a new laptop that got a virus and I was sick and the following week my son was sick as well as our washing machine dying a few days before we left on our trip and during our absense our aircon broke down! Not to mention we had the BDO, AC/DC and CLIPSAL! So It's been one thing after the other!
I'm now getting myself motivated agsin to get back into KASZAZZ but with 3 children as most of you know it takes alot of organisation to do it all and I'm one of these people who is all or nothing so to do it all and save my sanity I've decided to forgo my Blog and post my projects on FACE BOOK! Cause lets face it that's where most of us spent our spare time!! And I figure I'm probably reaching more people than I am now currently through this blog! So I'm hoping one day soon I'll be back posting my workshops here on my blog!

During this 2hr workshop you will make 5 cards using the new Merry Christmas Papers(I've added 1 more card not shown in the picture). Techniques you will learn/ use are paper distressing, punch art and embossing. Sample photo shows Enchanted SB papers.

During this 2hr workshop you will make a beautiful decoration a single SB page and a card! A perfect gift all in one workshop!

These following workshops are suitable for Children and adults alike!!
I decided to offer a couple of workshops suitable for KIDS aged 6-9 years and TWEENS aged 9-13 years. All workshops are rated accordingly BUT anyone is welcome to book into any workshop you like!

Card & giftbox decorated in the new School Days range. Perfect for your favourite teacher to show your appreciation of all the hard work they do. In this workshop you will use these techniques- embossing, stenciling, stamping, paper tearing. Suitable for the beginner or advanced scrapper.

School Days Double page Layout Workshop. You will be using the new School Days range of papers and stamps. This is a great way to preserve those precious fisrt day school photo's. MASS UPDATE!!!

Apologies for my lack of updates of late! This month has been exceptionally busy! And by the time I get to my computer its soo late (like now) and I think I'll do it in the morning when I'm fresh and not so sleep deprived but alas I'm always sleep deprived as I have a 2 yr old son who has always woken throughout the night OR very early in the morning and as I'm a bit of a night owl, late nites & early mornings mean little sleep!! Not that you all really wanted to know that!

Anywhoo here are some pics of what I've done over these last few weeks!

Enchanted Birthday SB Page and Card Beyond Beginners
During this 2Hr workshop you will create a SB page and matching card!
I designed it for a special occasion eg: 18th, 21st, 30th Birthdays,anniversary ect. I created this layout using my good friend's 40th Bday.

I made this card for my son's 2nd Birthday.I used my most fave Lyra Aquarell crayons except I forgot to use a perm ink like Ancient Page or Crafters!But I don't mind the effect! (And as I didn't have a woofer foot print to use) I used the bear paw. Which I think... works?

"Themed Party" Suitable for beginners.
This 2Hr workshop will show you how easy it is to create your own personalised party items for your special little one or big one in your life! From invitations,thankyou tags, goodie bags, Birthday Card, wrapping paper the limits are endless and with a few stamps, cardstock, ribbon,and a theme in mind it's easy. So let's get making.

"Bella Boy Clock". Made by Angela Coombs Inspired by Naomi Elliott's Ooh-La-La Clock. There are many designs you can choose from to individualise your own clock in this 2Hr Workshop.

I havn't had a chance to make it yet. But I love the blue and brown colours together and its a lovely keepsake of the family and would make a great Fathers Day gift!

Kaszazz Team Business Getaway

Thanks to Tina for this fab pic of us all standing in front of the homestead!
I've come back all inspired from my weekend away at Morgan where we stayed at the Rivergums Homestead.I would like to say it was PEACEFUL until we got there!Ha! I think we all had an absolute ball! Well I know I did! I feel very fortunate to be part of a team with so many talented and successful women.(GIRL POWER!!!)
It has made me realise, though it may take me longer to achieve my goals (I'm the kind of person who wants it all to happen now!)my family is my main priority and everything else will fall into place if I plod along at a comfortable pace to ensure I have BALANCE in my life! You are so right Naomi it does sum it up! I hope you don't mind my borrowing your "word"!
My thanks to Cheryl for all your hard work into putting together a great weekend! I'm still wearing my bracelet! HA! I can't wait for the Creative Getaway in August!

We had projects we had to create before we went away here are some pics of them!
We had to make and share a Make and Take card using the new travel papers and stamps. It was uncanny how we all used Distressed Inks!

We also had to make a plaque with the words "How Can I...." So when we think we can't do something we can turn it around to How can I!

We also had to make a Success Journal and write in it everyday leading up to the weekend away on what we've done regarding our Kaszazz business. As well as setting goals and how we want to achieve them. So it was business orientated but still lots of fun!

Here we all are hard at work! Creating a beautiful Fancy Swirl Album Designed by Cheryl Devlin.

The finished project! Yes we used Distressed Inks! How beautiful is it!

WOW where has the time gone? This last month has wizzed past me soo fast I didn't get to do any posts! The main reason been my computer crashed big time! I've been trying to get it fixed which takes time and money! Lucky my folks don't live too far from me and I'm able to finally put my July workshop Schedule on my blog.

What a great day I've had "working", more like a girls craft day out!! Here are the workshop samples i made today at the Kaszazz training day using the new Life's a Beach theme stamps and scrapbooking cardstock! Very versatile for male & females.

This a SB layout I designed using the Bella range for a competion that we had at the training day, unfortunatley I didn't win a prize as naughty me used contriban!! The products we used could only be Kaszazz and I used decorative scissors on the edging on my flower petals in the 2nd page & my bazzill wasn't a current green colour stocked by Kaszazz! Oh well you live and learn! I'm still happy with how it turned out! And I will still be running it as a workshop!! (Using only Kaszazz!)

The last few weeks have been busy busy with birthdays, Mothers Day and our 14th Wedding anniversary! I feel like I hardly have any free time these days. But its great to be working, creating and "crafting" again.

I bought this funky necklace on a shopping outing to the city with my mum on Mother's Day. I know myself or my good mate Kate probably could of made something like it but I just Loved it and had to buy it!

I did get spoilt by my boys for Mothers Day, my eldest son was very busy making lots of cute cards and presents at school. He also went shopping with his daddy and picked out scrapbooking magazines(bless his heart) yummy chocolates and a cute best mum bear! And I got breakie in bed!Scrambled eggs and bacon made by Wil (with daddy's help ofcourse!)

The best is yet to come!!I decided to spoil myself with a bit of bling! I bought myself a new diamond ring mmm nice very nice!

Hi all,
I had a great turn out on Sat at my "official Kaszazz Launch Party" Everyone was very impressed with the extensive product range and they all had some fun making a card using the four flowers rollergraph, Lyra Aqua watercolour crayons(which I absolutley love!!)chalks,stamps and even a bit of bling to finish it off. But unfortunatley I was too busy playing host and didn't take any pictures! DOH!Not to worry!

SRC - My big school boy!

I am a very proud mum!
Wil (and another student) was nominated by his yr 3 class , and chosen to be a SRC (student representative committee).
He was presented his certificate and badge at the previous weekly assembly. Both Michael and I and Gabe were there to share in his big moment!
He was a presenter at the R-6 assembly on Fri 20th March. The Topic was celebrating Harmony. And of course I was there again taking pics of his big moment! He is such a responsible student and takes his schooling very seriously. Lets hope it continues through to high school! Which I know is a few years off yet!
He's a natural public speaker. He was so confident getting up in front of everyone and spoke clearly and loudly. I think he may have a calling ?
Anyway I'm proud of him he did a fantastic job!

I'm very excited to announce I'm joining Kaszazz! I will be having my Business Launch on Saturday 2nd May!
Over the past few months I have been considering starting some sort of scrapbooking venture and Kaszazz ticks all the boxes for me! I've got lots of ideas for workshops and I can't wait to get started. The plan is to set myself up and run workshops at home. More info on future workshops coming soon!

We had a weekend away up the river for my cousin Tim's 40th Bday! The boys had a great time! Michael and I spent much of it chasing Gabe inside and out, up and down stairs! Wil went on Tim's jet ski with him. They all went out on the speed boat. Gabe looked very much at ease sitting in Michaels arms wizzing over the water!
