Yes I am updating my Blog again! I'm getting organised! Here are my Workshops I'm running in Feb!

Tuesday 7th February 10:30am-12:30pm

"Beach Bliss" Layout Created by Sonia Gibson

Suitable for Beyond Beginners

I know it's not a beach layout! I've obviously altered and the layout design to suit the Christening photo's I wanted to use but the concept is from the original project Sonia created.

This is a 4 Hour Master Class Workshop where you will create a bright, fun ( beach) layout using buttons, stamping, Enamel Accents, flock and the Ezy-Press.

Wednesday 8th February 10:30am-12:30pm

Mums N Bubs Club. Wednesday morning fortnightly. Children welcome.
BYO photo's, baby album, embellishments and basic tool kit. Or purchase the Complete Scrapbooking- Baby Milestones. (payment plan available)

Tuesday 14th February 10:30am-12:30pm

"All Creatures Great and Small"Cards Created by Zena Melville

Suitable for Beginners

During this 2 Hour Workshop, you will complete three cute animal themed cards, using the Ezy-Press, stamping, embossing and different ribbon techniques.

Friday 17th February 10:30am till late

"UFO DAY"

BYO unfinished objects (cards, layouts, off the page projects)
and basic tool kit and spend some much needed time out to complete your projects. No cost.

Tuesday 21st February 10:30am-12:30pm

"Victorian Days" Layout  Created by Debbie Green

Suitable for Beyond Beginners

During this 4 Hour Master Class, you will complete an elegant Victorian double page layout with Ezy-Press Cut and embossed features, crackle highlights, coloured lace and flowers, background stamping,distressing as well as a hidden journal area.

Photos: Three 6" x 4" Portrait and one 6" x 4" Landscape sepia or colour photos.

"Vintage Flourish" Shadow Box  Created by Angela Coombs

Suitable for Beyond Beginners

During this 4 Hour Master Class, you will complete an elegant Vintage Shadow Box with Ezy-Press Cut and embossed features, distress stain highlights, creating your own embelishments using shrinky dinks, plastic sheets, sticky bling, and flowers, distressing techniques as well.

"Special Valentine" Cards Created by Lorraine Paton

Suitable for Beginners

These cards were created as individual Demonstration Projects using new stamps, ribbons, showing you how to utilize your punches to create embelishments and highlighting with Ice Stickles and Enamel Accents. I've slightly altered and combined them into a workshop.

Special Occasions Album

HAPPY CRAFTY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
I hope you all had a peaceful and relaxing time over Christmas and New Years. Mine was very peaceful and stress free!My family loved getting away from it all and it was great to catch up with family especially at Christmas and of course the children were spoilt! It was 10 days of nothing to do and with no computer! (and my iPhone email was dodgy too) except Eat,drink,swim,sleep!

So here I am back into it! I thought I'd share this with you before I start on New Years Resolutions!
I recently created an Album for a good friend of mine for her parents as a Keepsake of their combined 60th Birthdays. It was a Jazz themed party and I created 10 layouts/pages with places to add photo's and journalling with additional pocket pages all kept secure in one of our beautiful Kaszazz Albums!  I hope they enjoyed themselves on their special night and liked the Album.
I really enjoyed making this special keepsake album and would love to create more. So if your looking for something different unique and one of a kind to give as a gift or for yourself to keep a record of those precious photo's and memories of a special occasion drop me a line! I'm more than happy to help you create something too!

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

Hi Crafty Friends
I know we haven't had Christmas YET here I am talking about those New Years Resolutions (that we know we will break before the 2012 has begun) already! But I'm determined to stick to them this New Year! That's why I've decided to make mine craft related! I figure I've got a better chance of sticking to them and I might even get on top of all my unfinished projects and instructions that have been piling up and up!
This has all come about from a day (or 2!) of procrastinating, reading and following what my fellow Kaszazz Consultants on Face Book have been up to and I've been inspired by a couple of simply brilliant concepts (that I can't take credit for & sorry I forgot to make a note of who inspired me) that I will be implementing in the New Year.

First one is "SHOE BOX SUNDAY" every year I say I'm going to start making my Chrissie cards in July to get myself organised and send them on time for once! And here it is 1/2 way through December and I'm only 1/4 organised for Christmas! I figure I'm so far behind now If I keep going I'll be on time for next Christmas!
So 1 Sunday a month a group of us will get together and create cards to add to our stash or get a head start on Christmas. I'm not fussed if you use non Kaszazz product but keep in mind you will need to bring enough product for everyone to make the card. Please bring a sample of the card and enough product/ supplies that fits into a "shoebox" for everyone to make your card. So I suggest we keep it simple and hopefully we can come away with a handful of cards each month!

Second one is "MUMs N BUBs"CLUB. I know not everyone has children but most of us started scrapbooking to preserve those precious memories of our children's milestones and special occasions. 3 children later and I've barley touched the surface let alone completed an album for each of my children. And with the introduction of the Complete Scrapbooking- Baby Milestones it couldn't be easier to get my albums done before they turn 21!! So I'm setting aside a Wednesday morning fortnightly, do come join me in my child friendly home studio. You are welcome to BYO own album papers and embellishments and use my tools and tuition for a small fee or purchase the Complete Scrapbooking- Baby Milestones which has instructions and all materials you will need and more to create a stunning album you and your child will treasure. Payment plan option available please ask me.  

And the third one is "UFO"Day. I have a pile of unfinished projects that seems to be getting bigger! I love creating but find it hard to finish my projects completely before moving onto something else! I know I'm not alone. So I'm setting aside a Friday mid monthly to get cracking and finally finish my projects! BYO UnFinished Objects and basic tool kit, No Cost and your welcome to use my tools. Come along anytime from 10.30am ALL DAY till late. If your still here for tea we'll order pizza! It's a great way to catch up and we can pick each others brains for ideas if your creatively stuck too! 

 Bookings are essential as always. Please refer to LHS for dates and themes. If any dates clash with Public hols we will adjust accordingly as we go along.

During this Workshop you will complete 5 different Christmas Cards using Christmas Stamps, the Ezy Press and punches. Lots of easy techniques involved all inspired by Tim Holtz using the new seasonal Distress Inks (not available through Kaszazz :( maybe one day?)

"Pink Foil Holly Cards"Created By Angela Coombs

During this Workshop you will complete 3 modern Christmas Cards using Christmas designer adhesives, pink punch foil,Archival Inks the Ezy Press and distress techniques.

"Altered Christmas Book"Created By Angela Coombs

Suitable for Beginners and Beyond

During this Workshop (inspired by an old old Better Homes and Gardens Mag!)  you will create a keepsake Christmas book using child's preloved Golden book and creatively altering the pages with pictures, stamps, ribbons, embelishments and more! Lots of fun to make!
